AREAS OF PRACTICEKenneth Carr specialises in a wide range of criminal defence work, leading the preparation of complex cases including R v Ali Ahmed Safi and others (Afghan Airlines Hijacking) and a range of other highly sensitive cases, including international terrorism, international drug and fraud conspiracies and supergrass cases. He frequently advises lawyers throughout the world on UK law and procedure. He has extensive experience of serious fraud cases, particularly white-collar crime and regulatory work. During 2009 and 2010 he has received instructions as leading, sole or led junior advocate in a range of substantial contested cases including murder, conspiracy to steal, money laundering, drugs, kidnapping and other violence offences.
