Associate Members We open associate membership to: · Outstanding individuals with the potential to be excellent communicators, whether they are solicitors or barristers; whether in chambers, partnership or employed elsewhere; and whether they currently have Higher Rights of Audience or not. We offer an induction year incorporating the · Associate Members Training Programme: 10 days of Advocacy, Legal Skills and Presentation Skills Training spread over six months (see 2007/8 programme here) · Personal mentoring and supervision · Research and other structural support facilities · Assistance with career development in Higher Court Advocacy. At the conclusion of the induction year our associates are encouraged to apply for full membership. Full members All our full members must be graduates of the Associate Members Training Programme, sharing a common core of skills training, and expressing a commitment to developing the Perren Buildings ethos of co-operative support. The Perren Buildings organisation will continue to provide structural support for its members to sustain their advocacy, teaching and academic practices.
