AREAS OF ADVOCACY PRACTICE

Flora Page qualified in 1998 with Clifford Chance, moved to criminal practice in 1999 and attained higher rights of audience in 2002. She now practices as an advocate in all areas of criminal law, and has a particular interest in fraud. Having written widely on the subject, she was recruited to work at the Law Commission to work on its Fraud Report (Law Com No. 276), and she is now part of a team developing a new definitive practitioner text.

Flora was instructed as sole junior or led junior advocate in over thirty cases during 2007/8, notably in a series of complex cases including drugs, immigration offences, terrorism, prison disorder, drugs supply, violence, armed robbery and fraud.

OTHER ACTVITIES

Flora teaches part-time at the College of Law, training aspirant barristers in all aspects of criminal practice and evidence. She is accredited to teach advocacy by the Bar Council’s Advocacy Training Council.

She is a member of the committee of the Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates.
